Your car has broken down and you do not want to spend your holiday money on the repairs?

No problem, the AIT Letters of Credit which are part of the Assistance Booklet are a means of payment for unforeseen expenses when travelling abroad. You get your car repaired, pay the garage by means of AIT Letters of Credit, and drive off to continue your trip without having used up a cent of your holiday budget.

The payment of the garage and the reimbursement is done on a bilateral basis between AIT member clubs.

The Assistance Booklet together with the AIT Letters of Credit are valid in Europe and the countries around the Mediterranean. Some clubs also offer a world extension.
