The AIT represents the interests of campers and caravanners on issues such as European campsite safety and the monitoring of EU legislation with regard to driving licences as far as towing is concerned. The AIT, through its member associations, also carries out consumer tests in areas such as caravan stability and motorhome crash-testing.

Camping and Caravanning Commission

The Camping and Caravanning Commission, which meets annually, provides a forum for member associations to exchange views, information and best practice which is then used for the benefit of their individual camping and caravanning members.
